CROSS COUNTRY: Lady Braves win Asheville Cross Country Classic

The Cherokee Lady Braves varsity cross country team took first place out of three teams at the Asheville Cross Country Classic at Asheville Christian Academy on Saturday, Oct. 1.  Cherokee won with a score of 29 followed by Tuscola 38 and the Trailblazers team at 54.  Dorian Reed led the Lady Braves with a second place finishing time of 24:08.97.  The Braves took second place in the team contest with a score of 42.  Tuscola won with a score of 32 and the Trailblazers took third with a score of 58.  Darius Lambert led the Braves with a second place finish (18:07.98) followed by Josiah Lossiah in third place (20:21.42).
