Clara Jean Bradley Huskey “Sis”, 77, of Cherokee, passed away on March 11, 2015 at Mission Hospital following a brief illness. Clara is the daughter of the late Nick Bradley Sr. and Edith Hart Bradley. Clara was a member of Cherokee Macedonia Baptist Church and attended Sequoyah Baptist Church. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
Clara is survived by her husband, Robert Bruce Huskey Jr.; son Nick Huskey; two daughter-in-laws, Tedda Huskey and Sheri Pheasant; grandchildren, Hope Huskey, Chasity Huskey, Cade Huskey, Nataya Huskey, Zane Huskey, Danicka Huskey, James Pheasant and Cory Pheasant; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Hammond Bradley (wife Carol) and James “Red” Bradley (wife Irma). Clara also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Clara is preceded in death by her son, Kent Huskey; sister, Betty Crowe; brothers, John Bradley, Jarrett Bradley, Joe Bradley, Shorty Bradley and Russ Bradley.
A visitation was held on Saturday, March 14 at Macedonia Baptist Church. The funeral service followed with burial following at the Bradley Family Cemetery. Nephews were among pall bearers, and Pastor Timothy James officiated.
