Cherokee Central Schools has launched its district wide fundraiser for the Manna Food Box Project.  The initiative was adopted by the All Schools Sacred Path Committee in partnership with the Cherokee Community Wellness Team (CCWT) as their annual service project with the goal of serving students, families, and community members in need.

This project comes in collaboration with the Cherokee Food Lion who has agreed to match every dollar raised by CCS for the project.

Each food box costs $5.  Last year, the CCWT was able to provide 160 boxes with the funds they raised and Food Lion’s collaboration.  This year, the school’s goal is to raise enough funds to purchase 250 boxes, which after Food Lion’s match will be doubled to 500 boxes.
