Dig into Summer Reading Program at Qualla Library

Last week, not only did the summer readers in the Dig into Reading Summer Program at the Qualla Boundary Public Library dig into reading a good book, they dug into some dirt and painted with it. Eve Welch is shown enjoying her painting. Stop by the Library on Thursday, July 18 at 5pm to see what other kinds of dirt and books you can dig up. The top reader for the week is Tia Panther. Check with Robin Swayney, Qualla Public Library manager, to turn in your reading times to be eligible for the reading prizes. (Photo by Robin Swayney/Qualla Library)
