Rose Ann Driver – obituary

Rose Ann Driver, 35, of Cherokee passed away unexpectedly at the University of Tennessee Medical Center on Jan. 1, 2013.  She was a basket maker, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and a member of Goose CreekBaptistChurch.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Leroy Tramper and Annie Ruth Tramper; an aunt, Nellie Mae Driver; a special brother, Robert Travis Bird, (a.k.a. Bonehead); and a special sister, Bobbie Lynn Driver.

She is survived by her husband, Quincy Watty, Jr.; her mother, Linda Tramper Bradley; her father, Robert Driver and wife Rita; children, Kourtney Lee Watty, Kyle Quincy Watty, Aweeusti Watty, and Aliyah Watty, all of the home; a sister, Norma Kay Driver; uncles, Robert Tramper, Ammons Tramper, Daniel Tramper, Mike Driver, and Watty Driver, Jr.; aunt, Loretta Driver; niece, Marianne Hornbuckle, and a nephew, Davun Broome. Also surviving is a special grandpa John Henry Driver.

The family will receive friends at Goose CreekBaptistChurch on Friday, Jan. 4 beginning at 4pm.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2pm also at Goose CreekBaptistChurch. The Rev. Greg Morgan and Rev. James Gunter will officiate. Burial will be at the ArmachainCemetery on Swimmer Branch.

Pall Bearers will be Daniel Tramper, Davy Tramper, Robert Tramper, Dustin Tramper, Wagoo Tramper, Auston Tramper, and Edward “Scrappy” Sherrill.
