Connection with Sgt. Henry

Upon doing some research, I discovered your web page where Sgt. Nathan Henry was a guest speaker for a memorial service at Acquoni Expo Center on Friday, Oct. 5.

Shown above is a POW bracelet for Sgt. Nathan Henry worn by One Feather reader Barbara Guilbalt. (Photo courtesy of Barbara Guilbalt)

I am wearing today, as I do every Veterans and Memorial Day (for 40+ years) my stainless steel POW bracelet. The name of my POW Soldier was Sgt. Nathan Henry 7/12/67. I purchased this bracelet in 1970 or 71. I was a young 12 year old girl at that time!

I often wondered the whereabouts of the man whose name I wear so proudly on my wrist. I’ve wondered if he or a family member already posses one, as I know many were produced of the same name. If he’s interested I’d be happy surrender my bracelet to its rightful owner. If not, I’ll continue my tradition. I just wanted him to know.

With regards,
