Ray Michael (Mickey) Huskey, 64, of Cherokee passed away on August 4, 2012 at Cherokee Indian Hospital following a brief illness. He was a member of the Yellowhill Community and was a member of Sequoyah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bruce Huskey, Sr. and Birdie Huskey, and a nephew, Kent Huskey.
He is survived by his daughter, April Fisher of Sevierville, Tenn.; brothers, Henry and Robert Huskey; sisters, Laverne Land, Loretta Crowe, and Arlene Huskey; nieces, Alyta Huskey Cunningham, and Cynthia Ledford; nephews, Nick Huskey, Eddie Huskey, Stan Crowe, Stu Crowe, and Melvin Ledford; and special friends, Joyce Raines and Doris Smith Smoker.
The family will receive friends at Sequoyah Baptist Church on Aug. 6 beginning at 4pm 12am. The funeral service will also be held at Sequoyah Baptist Church on Aug. 7 at 11am.
The Rev. Tim James will officiate. Pall Bearers will be Stan Crowe, Stu Crowe, Melvin Ledford, Nick Huskey, Eddie Huskey, and Dale Fisher.
