Employees from newly opened Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel recently presented The Community Table with a $1,600 check. Proceeds for the donation were gathered from guest-patrons and employees during the first pre-open days of service at Ruth’s Chris.  The Community Table has been ‘adopted’ as a designated non-profit organization by Ruth’s Chris Steak House for an on-going community relationship.

“We are delighted to be here in this beautiful area of Western North Carolina through our connection with Harrah’s, but even more excited to make contact with such a great community-based organization as The Community Table,” said Ruth’s Chris General Manger, Paul Delgado.  “We really look forward to our growing relationship with Amy, their Board, and their clients.  Food is our business and we’d like to extend that common thread out into the community.”
