WINTRY MIX LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY ACROSS THE
SOUTHWESTERN MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA AND MOUNTAINS OF
NORTHEAST GEORGIA...
 
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND WEAK FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL MOVE
INTO THE AREA LATE TONIGHT BRINGING A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION
TO THE SOUTHWESTERN MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA AND THE MOUNTAINS
OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA. PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS A MIX OF SNOW
AND SLEET...THEN CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN AND RAIN AS THE
ATMOSPHERE SLOWLY WARMS TUESDAY MORNING. THE PRECIPITATION SHOULD
CHANGE TO ALL RAIN BY NOON AS WARMER AIR MOVES INTO THE AREA.
