Ray Rose is new TCGE Board of Advisors member

     The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the TCGE Board of Advisors  recently announced the newest TCGE Board member, Ray Rose.    Since the opening of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel in 1997, Rose has held several positions including Manager, Director, and Vice President of Non-gaming.  He has also worked as the Tribal Liaison for the TCGE Board and most recently served as the Project Manager responsible for the oversight of the construction of the new hotel tower, hotel parking garage, off site laundry, Paula Deen’s restaurant and numerous other projects.

    He retired from the operation April of last year.  Rose serves the tribe and the community through his involvement with various organizations such the Sequoyah Fund, Cherokee Broadband Enterprise, Cherokee Historical Association, and Vocational Opportunities of Cherokee.  He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and resides in the Birdtown Community with his wife Cathy.
