New Doctor at Cherokee Indian Hospital

     Cherokee Indian Hospital welcomes Dr. Carmen Arkansas Nations to its Pediatrics staff.  Dr. Nations attended University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a pediatric residency at East Tennessee State University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was an IHS Scholarship recipient.

    Dr. Nations became a medical provider because she enjoys daily interactions with families, teaching and healing.  She is from Cherokee and came home to serve her community.

     Dr. Nations is married with three children and enjoys photography, poetry, songwriting and spending time with her family.  She has a special interest in Down Syndrome awareness and advocacy.
