SCHOOL DELAY INFORMATION
Please note that the Cherokee Central Schools will have a two-hour delay and a three-hour delay schedule this year if necessary due to inclement weather.  All schedule decisions will be made as soon as possible each morning and will be posted to the Boys Club’s Facebook Page, will be aired on WLOS-TV Channel 13, will be announced by Cherokee Dispatchers and will be announced through the Schools’ information network.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CHEROKEE ATHLETES!
     On Tuesday, Dec. 13 Cherokee’s JV Girls, JV boys, Varsity Lady Braves and Varsity Braves swept all four games from Swain County.
     On Friday, Dec. 16 Cherokee’s JV Boys, Varsity Lady Braves and Varsity Braves defeated Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge does not have a JV Girls Team)
     The Varsity Braves Wrestling Team placed Third Overall in the 37th Annual Chief Osley B. Saunooke Memorial Tournament held on Saturday.  The teams placing first and second were 3-A Schools.
