Placide joined the CIH medical staff as a PA June 2001 after training at Rosebud and Gallup. She has worked in the OPC, ER and most recently served as medical team lead for the Orthopedic Clinic. Since 2005, she has served the IHS community as the PA Chief Clinical Consultants.

In her new endeavor, she will serve as a collaborative director for the IPC program. The new position will afford her the opportunity to continue to work with CIHA clinical leaders, so her ties with our community will not be cut.

Placide related she is sad to leave her patients and the CIHA family; however, she looks forward to the opportunities presented to her family in this new chapter of their lives.
