CLUB SCHEDULE:

Monday, July 18 – Health Screen – 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. – CBC Conference Room

Wednesday, July 20 –Board of Directors Meeting – 8:30 a.m. – CBC Conference Room

Thursday, July 21 – Safety Committee Meeting – 11:30 a.m. – CBC Conference Room

That’s what Agelink gets!  According to Kara Jones, Child Care Consultant for the Division of Child Development and Early Education, Agelink Child Development Center will be a 4-Star Center. They received six points in program standards and four points in staff education for a total of 10 points!  The rating package for the school age program is not complete as of this time but we will share that news as soon as it arrives.  Congratulations to Tammy Bradley and her staff for their hard work and dedication to reach this level.

 

WELCOME NEW ARRIVAL!

WESTON CASH SWIMMER

Congratulations to Brandi Lambert and John Swimmer on the birth of their son, Weston Cash Swimmer, who was born on July 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon.  Weston weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21” long.  Baby Weston is the grandson of Cindi Squirrel in the C&F Department and the nephew of Trista Welch of the Graphics Department.  Our best wishes to them all.

 

BAKE SALE AND COOKOUT

Agelink will have a Bake Sale at the Agelink Conference Room on Friday, July 15, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This fundraiser is being held to assist the School Age students with their end of summer trip to Dollywood. 

 

On Friday, July 22, Agelink will have a Cookout Fundraiser to raise money for the trip to Dollywood also.  The two menus will be:  Hot dog with chili, baked beans, slaw, potato chips, dessert and drink OR Hamburger, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, potato salad, potato chips, dessert and drink.  Both menus are $7.00 each.  Call 497-6726 to order your lunch on that Friday.  Thanks for your support!

 

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to all the candidates for Council, School Board, Vice Chief and Chief who advanced in the primary election last week.  Thanks to all of the candidates for their hard work and commitment to our Tribe and our communities. 

 

A special thanks to the members of the Election Board for their hard work and dedication in this year’s election process.

 

 SEQUOYAH CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 6th Annual Sequoyah Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26 at Sequoyah National Golf Club.  Registration will begin on Monday, July 25.  If your company or organization would like to help sponsor this event, please call Jeannie Arkansas at 497-5645 for information.
