Tickets are on sale now for the Jan. 22, Paula Deen Cooking Demonstration at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel, with proceeds to benefit the Cherokee Indian Hospital’s Digital Mammography Unit.  Paula Deen, a popular star of The Food Network, a restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author, is widely recognized as the Queen of Southern home-style cooking.

The show, which will be at 5pm on Saturday, Jan. 22, in the casino’s new Event Center, is scheduled for the same day that Paula Deen’s Kitchen officially opens to the public in the new Creek Tower Hotel Lobby at Harrah’s Cherokee.

Show tickets range from $15 to $40 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000.

“We are truly excited to mark the official opening of Paula Deen’s Kitchen here at Harrah’s Cherokee by hosting this cooking show to benefit the Digital Mammography Unit at Cherokee Hospital,” said Human Resources and Community Relations VP Jo Blaylock. “During the show, Paula Deen will get up-close-and-personal with the audience, sharing stories and anecdotes from her life and road to success, as well as preparing two Valentine’s Day dishes during the cooking demonstration portion of the show. We hope the community will enjoy getting to know Paula Deen and support the hospital at the same time.”

Paula Deen’s Kitchen at Harrah’s Cherokee is a full-service, 404-seat restaurant serving a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new food outlet features the décor and ambiance of Paula Deen’s legendary home and kitchen in Savannah, GA. Adjacent to the restaurant is a 1,800-square-foot Paula Deen retail shop, offering cookbooks, spices, food items, cookware, logo-wear and gifts.
