BRYSON CITY – Hubert Lee Gentry, 69, of McMillan Rd, and formerly of Haywood County, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2011 at Swain County Hospital. A Native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Howard and Ellen Ledford Gentry.
He is survived by his significant other,Leola McMillan; 1 Brother, Bobby Gentry and his wife Rhonda of Maggie Valley; 1 Stepdaughter, Tonya Carroll of Cherokee; 1 Stepson, James McMillan of Bryson City; 3 Step Grandchildren, Kelcie Carroll, Richard Maney and Sarah Beck.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The Rev. James ( Red ) Bradley will officiate. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery in Maggie Valley. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
