CMS Wrestlers dominate Rosman

                The Cherokee Middle School wrestling team traveled to Rosman on Wednesday, Jan. 13 and came back with a resounding 70-3 win over the Tigers. 

                Seven Cherokee wrestlers won by forfeit including:  Austin Padilla (93lb.), Tristin Flying (119lb.), Spencer McCoy (160lb.), Kirsh Bird (171lb.), Jared Doolittle (189lb.), Brent Gunter (215lb.), and Raymond Taylor (Hwt.). 

                The other Cherokee results include: 

–          Justin Buchanan (103lb.) pinned Rosman’s Orr

–          Levin Swearengin (112lb.) won by majority decision over Rosman’s Owen

–          Tommy Lossiah (125lb.) won by a disqualification by Rosman’s Alexander

–          Russell Bigmeat (130lb.) pinned Rosman’s Ramey

–          Jacob Wilnoty (135lb.) lost by decision to Rosman’s Diaz

–          Wade Wolfe (140lb.) pinned Rosman’s McGregor

Neither school had wrestlers in the 145lb. or 152lb. classes.
