John Squirrell, 83, of Cherokee passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Cherokee Indian Hospital.
He is survived by two sons, Fred Squirrell of Cherokee and Herb Squirrell of Whittier; one brother, Paul Squirrell of Cherokee; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Squirrell and Jane Welch Squirrell; and one grandson, Brock Squirrell.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, July 31 at the Yellowhill Veterans Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Steve Youngdeer American Legion Post #143.
