The Swain County Coalition Against Fracking will be presenting a series of educational movies on the dangers of hydraulic fracturing. The first movie, Gasland 1, will be screened at the Swain Center for Performing Arts (Swain High School) on Thursday, July 24 at 7 pm. Gasland 2 will be shown at the Nantahala Brewery (Depot Street across from the Great Smokies Railroad Depot) on Monday, Aug. 11 at 7 pm. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
