FASD training in Cherokee

A training on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), presented by Adrainne Bashista, trainer and founder of FAFASD, will be held on Friday, June 4 from 8:30am – 4pm at the Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center.  The training, which will include a certificate of completion for six hours, will include “Into Action: Fetal Alcohol/Neurobehavioral Conditions” and “Understanding and Application of a Brain-Based Approach”.  This event is sponsored by the HOPE Center, Interagency Coordinating Council, Safe Babies Program, and EBCI Public Health & Human Services.  Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.  RSVP by Thursday, May 29.  Info: Tina Saunooke 554-6229, 507-0830, or tinasaun@nc-cherokee.com
