Cherokee Central Schools has been approved as a free summer feeding site for the Seamless Summer Option Program from June 10-30.  Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8am and lunch from 11:30am – 12pm.  The summer feeding program operates under the USDA.

All individuals who are 18 years of age and under, as well as those over 18 who meet the state agencies’ definition of mentally or physically disabled, may receive free meals which will be served in the school cafeterias at Cherokee Elementary and Cherokee High Schools.  Participants with special diet needs must turn in a written diet order from their current health care provider to the child nutrition director or the cafeteria manager in advance.  You are asked to provide a proper notice so that they can ensure meals are available upon your arrival.
