A graduate of Georgetown’s school of business, Jim Gaffigan began taking improv classes at night while working an advertising job in New York City. The father of five often jokes about his upbringing in a large family, cake, Hot Pockets and bacon.
Gaffigan has appeared in over a dozen feature films including Three Kings, Super Troopers and The Love Guru. He has appeared on two comedy central stand-up specials and his stand up releases on DVD include “Beyond the Pale,” “King Baby” and “Mr. Universe.” Gaffigan’s memoir, “Dad Is Fat” debuted at #5 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
