Harrah’s Cherokee donates $3,000 to Hope for Families

Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort presented Hope for Families with a $3,000 donation on Friday, Nov. 8 to assist with the organization's services to families in Western North Carolina. Shown (left-right) are Jeff Cole, Hope for Families Board treasurer; VP Sandy Brown; Board president Zelerie Rose; and Jo Blaylock, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort vice president of human resources and external relations.  Hope for Families is a non-profit organization in Robbinsville that provides services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. The organization has a shelter, 24-hour crisis line, counseling, court advocacy, and support. Hope for Families' main source of financial support comes from its thrift store in Robbinsville.
