March 14 at 7pm in the Community Room of the Historic Jackson County Courthouse in Sylva.  Dr. Anne Rogers, WCU professor of anthropology, will speak on “The Structure of Traditional Cherokee Kinship (and why so many mountainfolk have Cherokee grandmothers”.  This event is free, and the public is invited.  Info: 631-2646
