Michael, 10 and Mario, 8, Mazzarello from Walkill, New York were in an antique shop last spring and saw three medals. The boys decided to try to return the medals to the rightful owner. When they examined, they found the name Charles George. Their research led them to the Steve Youngdeer Post of the American Legion in Cherokee. Further research yielded few answers, but the boys could not find any other Charles George.

The return ceremony will begin at 11am in the exhibition hall at Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds. Lunch will follow. The public is invited to attend.
