Cherokee Historical Association has announced the addition of its first-ever CHA Christmas Celebration, running Fridays and Saturday, Nov. 30 to Dec. 15, excluding Dec. 7, from 5-8pm at 564 Tsali Blvd., across from the Museum of the Cherokee Indian.

“We are excited to extend our season to a Christmas celebration,” said John Tissue, executive director of the Cherokee Historical Association. “So many people are tired of long lines, parking lots and plastic packaging, so we’ve created a simple Christmas celebration perfect for families looking to spend quality time together this year celebrating this wonderful season.”

Families can enjoy Christmas fun on a horse and buggy ride, have a picture taken with Santa, make an ornament, sip apple cider or hot chocolate and listen to stories and carolers. Authentic Cherokee handmade crafts will be on sale for those looking for a unique Christmas gift to give loved ones.
