Volunteers needed at Sequoyah Birthplace Museum.  March 3 from 9am – 1pm at the Museum located near Vonore, Tenn.   As part of the Fourth Annual Tennessee Invasive Weed Awareness Week (Feb 26 – March 3, 2012) the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum is hosting a volunteer work day on the Museum property.   Join for a half of day of cutting, pulling and hauling invasive plants like Privet and Japanese Honeysuckle.  Please bring cutting tools and work gloves and wear heavy boots.  Info:  Avi Askey of Overhill Gardens (423) 295-2288 or avi@overhillgardens.com
