Cherokee Tire celebrated 10 years in business on Jan. 1, and it recently celebrated another milestone.  The business has been associated with the Tirestarz Program, a retail program supported by Bridgestone/Firestone, for the past eight years.  And, for the past eight years it has received the Tirestarz Top Gun Award.

“It’s a privilege to actually be in the community,” said Cherokee Tire owner Reggie Smith.  “Any award that we receive, like this Top Gun Award, is actually an honor to the community also.  We don’t do it on our own.  It is the loyalty that we have from our customer base.  It is an honor and a privilege.  We are blessed to be here.”

Cherokee Tire joins over 1,300 locations in the United States that are part of the Tirestarz Program.  To win the Top Gun Award, a location has to meet several qualifications under the program and meet a monthly tire sales quota.
