The Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise (TCGE) Board announced recently that enrolled members of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation will continue to enjoy a 20 percent discount at all restaurant outlets managed by Harrah’s Cherokee, including Fresh Market Square Buffet, Club Cappuccino, Fresh Market Express, and eventually the Lobby Café and Food Court.

“Due to contractual arrangements, the discount is not available at branded, third-party restaurant outlets such as Paula Deen’s Kitchen, Ruth’s Chris Steak House or Brio Tuscan Grille,” said TCGE Chair John Houser.

While Paula Deen’s Kitchen is now open, the Lobby Café, Food Court, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Brio are all slated to open in 2011.

Enrolled members must show their enrollment card to obtain the 20 percent discount.

The Harrah’s Cherokee expansion is currently the largest hospitality development project underway in the Southeast and one of the largest in the U.S., offering the greatest number of hotel accommodations in the Carolinas.  Upon completion in 2012, the 56-acre property also will have added a new VIP lounge, a world-class spa, a state-of-the-art digital poker room, Asian gaming room and various retail outlets. The property also is renovating current casino gaming facilities and doubling the size of its casino floor to 195,000 square feet while increasing video and table game capacity.
